He’s finally here,

 He finally arrived,
A beautiful baby has entered your lives..
Our family is thrilled,

As you may have guessed,
He’s gorgeous,

He’s cuddly and

What are Nanny’s for

Nanny’s are for stories
about things of long ago.
Nanny’s are for caring
about all the things you know...
Nanny’s are for rocking you
and singing you to sleep.
Nanny’s are for giving you
nice memories to keep...
Nanny’s are for knowing
all the things you're dreaming of...
But, most importantly of all,
Nanny’s are for love.

Baby Shoes

Two worn little shoes with

a hole in the toe

And why have I saved them?

Well...all mothers know.

 

There's nothing so sweet

as a baby's own shoe.

And the patter of little steps

following you.

 

The feet they once held have

grown slender and strong.

Tonight they'll be tired after

dancing so long.

 

I guided her feet when she

wore such as these.

Dear God, may I ask you,

won't you guide them now,

please?

Ten little fingers,

Ten tiny toes,

The sweetest of smiles

And a cute little nose.

All these add up

To a very special thing...

A Baby Boy

The greatest of gifts

That life can bring.

Baby Bonnet Poems

A little square of linen

With dainty edge of lace

Fashioned in a bonnet

To frame your Baby's face

 

After Baby's worn it,

Fold it square and tuck it away ....

And it becomes a hanky

For Baby's Wedding Day.

 

And if Baby is a boy,

On the day that he will marry,

This becomes the "something old"

His happy Bride will carry.

Why God made little Boys

God made a world out of His dreams

of majestic mountains, oceans and streams,

Prairies and plains and wooded land,

Then paused and thought...                    
 "I need someone to stand
 On top of the mountains, to conquer the seas,
 Explore the plains and climb the trees.
 Someone to start out small

And grow sturdy strong and tall like a trees,”

and so...
 He created boys,

Full of spirit and fun, to explore and conquer,

to romp and run,

With dirty faces and banged up chins,

With courteous hearts and boyish grins.

When He had completed the task He'd begun,

He surely said,

"That's a job well done."

Why God made Little Girls

God made our world from a great shining star

And filled it with marvellous things,

Like shadows and rainbows and dimples and bows

And dreams that come true from wishes

But he needed something special and dear.
To make all he'd created worthwhile,

To sing songs, pick flowers, be dainty, and sweet,
So God made the world Little Girls.

Who forever He will cherish and love

of all His creatures in Heaven and Earth,

He sees in a Little Girl's eyes,

The wonder and glory of Paradise

A little Boy on the way

how happy you must be!

As every house needs a little boy.

To bang those Drums

And make mud pies –

and bring worms in from the garden,

He’ll fill the house with laughter,

And your lives with so much Fun.

With bright and twinkling eyes

I really feel quite special

Although I’m very small

As my Nanny to love
I’ve only just arrive

And already we’ve a bond

It's warm and cosy on her lap

my grandma's arms are filled with love

In the dim and distant past when life's tempo wasn't fast
Grandma used to rock and knit crochet hats and baby-sit
When the kids were in a jam they could always count on Gran
In the age of gracious living, grandma was the gal for giving.

Grandma now is in the Gym, Exercising to keep slim.
She's out touring with the bunch, taking friends out to lunch.
Driving here and there, Shopping for fashion every where
Nothing seems to stop to her. Our Granny Ann is a such a Rocker

This special occasion
gives me the opportunity
to tell you something
I might have neglected to tell you.
I know life has not always been fair to you --
you've had to weather
some rough times over the years.
The way you have survived those storms
and made such a great example
to all those around you,
Makes me so proud of you.
I want you to realize on this special day
