A little bit about the Club
We
hold our Meeting In Lee's Pub
Main Street, Greystones
Road, Kilcoole, Co Wicklow
On the last Wednesday of every month from 7.30 to 10.00
Next meeting is the 30th of July
If
you run a craft club or are a member of a craft club, and fancy coming
along as a guest to one of our meetings please get in touch.
Topper picnic day
Date is the 16th of August
We are having a Club only fun day during the summer holidays, where we will make toppers, everyone who has a die cutting machine can bring it along, and we can cut and emboss dies for you to make toppers, you will need to bring along your basic tool kits but will need Card pretty papers (Scraps are great for this) gel pens, chalks, and colouring pencils to decorate the dies, and a picnic, would you be up for it, there will be no shops at this event so that everyone can have fun,

If anyone has them can you return to me or bring to next club meeting
Also can everyone please check there tool boxes if you have tools you know you haven't bought yourself they may belong to someone from the club, bring them along to the next club night and we will sort through them. members are telling me regular that this is happening, so can every member colour code there tools with a sticker or a ribbon.

Each month at the club, 2 members will do the baking and clean up as there is so many of us it will mean you will only properly be asked to do this once in a year. so next month the first two people are

Club Raffle
The money we raise from the raffle goes towards our insurance payment which was €288.00 last year, that is why we run the Fun days as well to help cover the cost.

with me. we have no one yet for in the spot light so if you fancy

Membership
Membership is €10.00 and there will be a nightly charge there after of €5.00 to cover tea/coffee and biscuits and the rent of the room, any funds left over will be used to buy craft products to raffle, we will also have a sale table so if you fancy having a craft room clear out!! box it up, bring it along on the night for sale, with your name on and a price, or grad yourself a barging from the sale table. Mary Keegan and Myself look forward to meeting you and sharing our top tips with you.

We now have 71 members and new members are very welcome, our club prides it's self on been friendly and welcoming just pop in as a guest and if you enjoy the evening you can become a member there is no pressure. each month about 30/40 members come along for a fun packed crafting evening.

Charity
Day
I will have this day in my front garden during the summer, and will give you the details very shortly
All money collected will go to the 2 following charity's
Wicklow hospital cancer care unit
and ASI.

K. and Myself have been chatting about this event and hope all the members
will get involved, we hope to hold this in the summer and donate the
takings to 2 charity’s, what we need from you is to make and donate as
many cards as you can for Different Occasions which we will personalize on
the day, the Cards can be as simple or as decorative as you like, if you
want to increase your own business please put your sticker on the cards you
make, and any cards left over will be returned to you. Or held over for
another event. Also we would like all members to attend on the day and
demonstrate there favourite Card Making skills to the people attending for
about an hour, if you have any ideas that you think we can use
on the day, please
